Quentin Tarantino launches new talent search

Quentin Tarantino has launched a  competition to find a budding new artist — and the prize is a meeting with the  “Pulp Fiction” director.

Tarantino is gearing up for the release of his latest film, spaghetti Western  “Django Unchained,” later this year, and he’s inviting fans to submit a poster  or promo clip based on the genre. He has teamed up with The Weinstein Co. and  Red Bull for the contest, which he will judge.

Entrants are required to submit poster art, a short film or a digital GIF  (graphics interchange format) containing footage from the “Django Unchained”  trailer by the end of this month. The winner will be given the chance to meet  Tarantino at the Comic-Con event in San Diego in July.
