Rock Music Fan Art: ‘Rocky Horror,’ ‘Spinal Tap’ and More (PHOTOS)

With “Rock of Ages” hitting theaters this weekend, we can add another title to the library of big-screen rock musicals. Some, like “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “The Blues Brothers” and “Little Shop of Horrors,” have become movie classics, while others (* cough “Xanadu” cough *) were so ridiculous, they transformed into the most midnight of cult movie wonders.

But no matter how over the top a musical got, each one ended up inspiring devoted fans to pay artistic tribute. This week’s installment of Best Movie Art ever salutes the coolest — and cheesiest — rock musicals in movie history.
