Tenacious D concert cut short due to stabbing incident

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States (4E) – A Tenacious D concert was cut short last Saturday in Las Vegas due to a stabbing incident involving audience members.

Police authorities say that a fight erupted an hour into the 90-minute concert at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, where one person was stabbed in the leg. Those involved were immediately brought to the hospital.

The rock-comedy duo is composed of Jack Black and Kyle Glass.

Following the cut off, Black told the audience, “This is no joke. Due to a serious situation we’re shutting it down. We can only play one more song, but we’re gonna rock it out.”

The House of Blues was closed down for the remainder of the night and succeeding performances were also cancelled. An unnamed suspect is now in the custody of the authorities; the police did not give out further comments.
