Johnny Depp to launch line of books called Infinitum Nihil

New York, NY, United States (4E) – Actor Johhny Depp will be launching his line of books called Infinitum Nihil, in partnership with Harper Collins’s Harper imprint.

The new imprint, according to its press release published Monday, will be “a home for authentic, outspoken, and visionary ideas and voices, from authors both celebrated and unsung, beginning with author Doug Brinkley.”

Jonathan Burnham, publisher of Harper, said, “We are thrilled to have a great talent like Johnny Depp adding his tastes and interests to our list. Already we look forward to the publications of two exceptional books, The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan and House of Earth, and anticipate equally compelling projects from Infinitum Nihil.”

Meanwhile, the “Lone Ranger” star said of his new endeavor, “I pledge, on behalf of Infinitum Nihil, that we will do our best to deliver publications worthy of peoples’ time, of peoples’ concern. Publications that might ordinarily never have breached the parapet. For this dream realized, we would like to salute HarperCollins for their faith in us and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship together.”

Its first title, written by Doug Brinkley, is “The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan” to be published tentatively in 2015.

Infinitum Nihil is also the name of Depp’s production company which he founded in 2004. His sister, Christi Dembrowski runs the company.
