New York, NY, United States (4E) – Giuliana Rancic and Andy Cohen will be hosting this year’s Miss Universe Pageant, the organization and NBC announced Tuesday.
Paula Shugart, President of the Miss Universe Organization said in a press release, “Andy and Giuliana are the perfect duo and the ideal hosts for this show. It’s obvious they have a lot of fun on stage, which in turn makes it a great experience for the audience. We look forward to collaborating with them and our partners, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, on this worldwide telecast.”
The duo has been hosting the prestigious Miss USA pageant for two years now. Rancic is a host for various shows on E!, and is a producer/star of the reality show “Giuliana & Bill.”
The 61st Annual Miss Universe Competition will air live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on December 19 at 8 p.m. ET, with a Spanish simulcast on Telemundo.
This year’s pageant is expected to gather over 1 bullion viewers as it is set to be televised in around 190 countries worldwide.
