‘Cloud Atlas’ Premiere: Tom Hanks, Halle Berry And Others Hit The Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

After skeptics said it couldn’t be done, the centuries-spanning “Cloud Atlas” finally took to the big screen for its world premiere.

Sci-fi vets Andy and Lana Wachowski (“The Matrix”), along with Tom Tykwer (“Run Lola Run”), adapted David Mitchell’s ambitious novel. The starstudded cast — Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Jim Sturgess, and Susan Sarandon — all do double duty (hexa-duty?) as they play out six story lines, which span time and space.

The film premiered at LA’s Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Wednesday night. Take a look at all the stars — including Keanu! — below.
