Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Actor Robert Pattinson goes back to his modeling roots as he has just been named the new face of Christian Dior.
E! News reports that the Twilight star has signed a $12 million deal for a three-year contract with the French fashion house.
Per the deal, Pattinson is to appear in a series of ad campaigns for Dior’s fragrance collections. Pattinson, prior to becoming an actor, began modeling at the age of 12, and was known for his androgynous looks.
A source told E! News, “Rob likes the brand,” which is likely true, as the actor has been seen on the red carpet wearing Dior creations a number of times including this year at the Cannes International Film Festival and at the Teen Choice Awards.
The 26-year-old star joins the ranks of other celebrity Dior endorsers Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron.
