Hybrid Ice – Mind’s Eye Tour – LIVE at the Arena

Hybrid Ice is back at the Arena. ”The Most Famous Unknown Band In The World” since 1969.
Hybrid Ice has captivated audiences for years with their style and musicianship. And now…they are doing it again. This Pennsylvania-based rock group has toured endlessly and plays cover songs sometimes better than the original bands themselves. Best known for their “Classic Rock Show”, playing the hits from Boston, Kansas, Styx, Queen, Pink Floyd, Yes, The Who, Aerosmith and more, it is no wonder they have been asked to be the support group for the original singers of the classic rock era.
Hybrid Ice is no stranger to the big stage. Over their history they have performed with major acts such as The Beach Boys, Toto, Bad Company, Ted Nugent, Hall & Oats, Todd Rundgren, Kansas, Foreigner, Joan Jet, Steppenwolf, 38 Special, The Outlaws and the Dixie Dregs. They have released three CD’s to date and performed throughout the entire eastern United States.
Tickets are $10 each and will go on sale at the Arena on March 1st. VIP booths are $100…4 tickets, a bottle of champagne and the best seats in the house! Tables are first come first serve for dinner reservations from 7-9pm. Call or stop in today to get your tickets and reservations (814)237-8833

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will return to the road this spring for the first leg of their Rock and Roll Never Forgets 2013 Tour. This will be the first-ever performance at the Bryce Jordan Center for Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band on Thursday, May 2.
There is a signature richness and power to the music that Bob Seger has been making for four decades, and as succeeding generations have discovered those qualities, his reputation as an artist and songwriter has only grown. His work represents the honest best of what rock & roll can be. It’s passionate, unpretentious, uplifting and true to itself and its audience. Perhaps most of all it is distinctly American, a plain spoken testament to the dignity, hopes and aspirations of ordinary working people. In a time as obsessed with glamour, celebrity, fame and materialism as ours, his songs remain a bracing tonic, an emblem of the belief that everyone’s life is a worthy subject of art.
That’s one of the reasons why Seger’s songs have lasted so well and continue to be so well-loved. His Greatest Hits collection has sold more than seven million copies, and albums like Beautiful Loser (1975), Live Bullet (1976), Night Moves (1976), Stranger in Town (1978), Against the Wind (1980) and Nine Tonight (1981) have all enjoyed multiplatinum sales. In March of 2004 Seger was more than deservedly inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Tickets are $75* and will go on sale Saturday, March 9 at 10AM at the Bryce Jordan Center, Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 814-865-5555.
*plus applicable venue fees and taxes
Camera Policy: Small, non-professional cameras permitted. NO audio/video recording. Policy subject to change.
Show starts at 7:30PM > doors open at 6:30PM

Interesting update:
TOUR UPDATE: Lady Gaga is taking teen counseling somewhere it’s never been: backstage. The singer revealed plans Saturday to offer free counseling at her BornBrave Bus before each show on her 2013 Born This Way Ball Tour. Gaga made the announcement through her Facebook page, telling her Little Monsters she hopes the free counseling will be a way to break stigmas around the idea of getting “help” and make it fun, instead. ”At the BornBrave Bus you have access to professional, private or group chats about mental health, depression, bullying, school and friends,” she told fans. The bus will be a fun tailgating experience for monsters to unite and will also include food, games and music. Leave it to Mama Monster to prove therapy can be fun.
